Erik Valdman – The Art of BIM

Forgetting about yourself common and is an important karma marriage and relationship question :

Q:
One thing which I have noticed is that for many years I have been placing a lot of of attention on other peoples needs, and not mine, its has if I have neglected myself! I am ready to put myself first. How?

A:
Your challenge of ‘other people needs’ vs ‘your needs’ is now on your mind and priority because you may not feel accomplished and meeting your potential.

In the past you may have felt that if you just able to satisfy others you would feel complete. You now realized it just does not work. Nor will they value what you do enough. You may recognize that the only way to get their love and approval

The moment you will feel that you are getting your share of growth…you will first experience the changes of energy, which you may be able to notice in your attitude and outlook, you will just be much easier to make decisions, feel less offended by others and more content with yourself, stages of that will be showing themselves, you will still be having ups and downs but you will be more able to let go.

That will express in your actions, choice and results, in that order. Results is what others will have easier time to notice first, those who are closer to you and care more about you, will also notice your patience and attitude change as well. Once you feel that return of positive attention from those around you, it will no longer feel wrong to attend to their needs.

Bottom line attending to your needs actually answers directly to what others really need from you in the first place. They what to be around someone who is growing.

Now you can feel comfortable placing yourself first, knowing that it has a great benefit to others.

Now What?

P30

We have been forced out from the safe green ages of tribal mental slavery to the unpredictable golden ages of responsibility through inner driven artistic expression of individuality. Now what?

[Daily Karma]

look at a flower or at a tree
they are just as perfect in the winter
and the spring as they are in the summer

just like you are always perfect

each step of your journey
completes a new beauty
a new purpose

just like every one around you

they too are perfect
they too have their winter
their spring and their summer
they too have their steps and their journey

forget that and be in fear
embrace that and be free
in your journey

The Rising Sun Meditation

Happy New Year 2011 By: Stan Ciszek Copyright ©2011

The Rising Sun…

House of Rising Sun By: Stan Ciszek Copyright ©2010

I am a very good sleeper….

But last night, the night of March 17, 2011, I could not fall asleep…

I was tossing and turning with my eyes wide open…feeling, thinking…images, endless fast moving images passing through…not a big surprise as a day earlier I’ve made a public commitment  to record transcribe and make public a Karma Secrets Meditation in the Japanese language…

A bright light came into my window
I looked at my iPhone, it was just after five in the morning…the sun, I  thought, wow…I may not get any sleep before our morning meditation…

I looked out of my bedroom window…it was not the sun…but may as well have been…the full moon, in an absolutely perfect sphere, the biggest I’ve ever seen it…smiling at me, in bright orange and yellow colors, reflecting the sunlight…five minutes no more…and it was gone!

Now I remembered why I could not sleep…”the land of the rising sun”  what a coincidence…

This coming Wednesday, March 23rd at 7:00 pm eastern time
A group of our students and their friends will gather downtown Toronto Canada to share, and record a Special Meditation to later make available to all, in the Japanese language.

How can you help?

Your live energy presence and good intentions are golden!

1. Simply Participate Live – we need your loving energy!
2. Share your experience – your feedback may be very inspiring!
3. Ask questions – interactive questions and answers are the most interesting format of a learning experience
4. Spread the word – so more and more people can directly and indirectly benefit!

And finally, the more practical and hands on:

Do you speak Japanese?
Do you you know someone who does?
Can you edit videos and sound?

You can help!

Initially we plan to translate, narrate, and transcribe English to Japanese.
Created audio and videos with narrations and subtitles.
Later we will require some ongoing support to update and  answer the questions we will be receiving…

Is there anything we missed?
Do you have any great ideas in who can help and how?

Let us know at TheRisingSun@KarmaSecrets.com

P.s. We are setting up a special page for the Wednesday The Rising Sun Event!

Please stay tuned!

Millions of Children around the world are going back to school. Parents, Grandparents and Children are very exited but often feel added stress during these times.

How can you deal with this stress?

Can Meditation really help?

Do Children even need meditation to be Happy?

Many studies prove meditation to be a valuable tool…

and did you know…

You have been meditating almost half of your life and did not even know it!

Did you know that sleep is a form of meditation?
Your body has an instinctive need to go into an eight hour “self regulation” mode, during which we best recover from the day, rejuvenate our body, mind and even grow. During sleep you often have involuntary movements, visualization even sounding, all as part of a natural instinctive survival mechanism.

As you sleep (forced daily meditation) your body uses available energy, from your day to rejuvenate.

(This Energy coming from proper diet, water, fresh air and exercise. Generally, the better your lifestyle the better your sleep.)

But, regardless of your lifestyle, if you are stressed, worried, your energy is low, than even your sleep is not as productive (you may wake up tired and often you can’t sleep at all).

Modern science does not know much about sleep, but we do know that children sleep much deeper and better quality than adults. (As I often run the parallel between available energy and aging !)

You also know that when you are emotionally stressed, worry, which are indicators of low energy, you often can’t sleep at all.

You can easily observe, that when we are physically ill our body forces us into sleep until we recover. Meditation just as sleep is a form of whole body rejuvenation.

When used properly, meditation does not simply substitute sleep, but enhances the awakened state potential.

The benefits of Meditation have been known for thousands of years, recently modern science has also begun recognizing the benefits of meditation for relief of stress and anxiety, raised physical and mental potential.

As science begins recognizing the power of the mind, and that awakening the bodies own ability, from within, can never be replaced by any external intervention, meditation is now rapidly becoming a big part in many hospitals, work places and now schools as a tool for emotional stability, physical recovery and personal growth.

As we know, Children are very sensitive, this sensitivity makes children vulnerable to all they hear and see at home, at school and in the media. The evidence of high stress and anxiety levels, obesity, allergies, other sensitivity to food and early aging are evident across all schools and communities.

Stress being one of the first responses leads to hyper activity, ADD, diminished creativity, and all academic scores. Stress often causes child depression, which may be expressed in being a bully or even a victim.

When stressed the body’s immune system weakens. Naturally, when losing sleep and emotionally down both adults and children become many times more vulnerable to all viruses and infections.

Children are very bright, and Introducing meditation to the children early, may prove extremely beneficial.
They will naturally be less vulnerable to their external environment and at times when the child may feel the stress and overwhelm they can use what they have learned as a tool for instant relief.
By introducing Meditative Story Telling, even once a week we will give them these tools and hope to be able to also see measurable results, in the over all social behavior and direct benefit in academic scores.

Small steps in the same direction
will always set you free
cleansing your perception
like apples on a tree

you enter winter garden
you have been here before
like shadows of a thunder
like rust on trays of coal

reflecting of your sorrow
your hands rise up in cry
what will you do tomorrow
where will your future lie

remembering the gardens
in summer sun and heat
awakening the scenes
to step to drummers beet

here you can feel your freedom
our conscious efforts pay
you know that truth delivers
keeping the pain at bay

recovering lost moments
you look ahead with pride
by listening and walking
you never have to fight

Tagore hosts Gandhi and wife Kasturba at Santiniketan in 1940

“Creation is an endless activity of God’s freedom; it is an end in itself.”

Rabindranath Tagore, (7 May 1861 – 7 August 1941) sobriquet Gurudev,
was an Indian Bengali polymath. He was a popular poet, novelist, musician, and playwright who reshaped Bengali literature and music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As author of Gitanjali and its “profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse”, and as the first Asian to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, Tagore was perhaps the most widely regarded Indian literary figure of all time. He was a mesmerizing representative of the Indian culture whose influence and popularity internationally perhaps could only be compared to that of Gandhi, whom Tagore named ‘Mahatma’ out of his deep admiration for him. (quote taken from Wikipedia)

We are a society of end results, goals, fast and instant gratification…could it be that the Freedom of the Journey, is the greatest of joys and the ultimate purpose?
Could we rewrite Rabindranath’s words and say:

“ The Creation in our ‘Journey of Life’ is the endless act, an expression of Human Freedom; it is the source of greatest wealth, the evidence of greatest health and happiness; it is an end in itself.”?

As you may know I spend many hours learning and researching with “Energy”.
I spoke of the thousand year shift from the “agricultural age” to the “industrial age”

First was the movement of people from their lands to big cities, from their father’s jobs to new training and schooling second was that physical strength was no longer as important as it was slowly replaced by the machines. New industries have arrived, and dominated, such as the car industry.

Then before we knew it, the “information age” was upon us.
People could no longer stay at the same job, things were going fast, business has opened its borders
companies became international, Silicon valley became the dominant force. IBM, Microsoft, Apple, Google…

It no longer took thousands of years not even hundreds, we have almost left the industrial age and moved to the information age as the manufacturing jobs have moved and soon may disappear.

Well, before you know it a new age will be upon us…the shift from “information age” to “social age”
you will no longer be paid to be physically strong, nor to have a good memory, not even to know complicated equations that will be done in a push of a button (and thanks to “Apple” new voice software development, a verbal command and maybe even a thought will be enough)

During this “social age” you will only survive if you have “emotional intelligence”

So what is this “social age” and how will it effect your life?

Since the recent financial crisis I have recognized that many large cooperation will be cutting their workforce
and these jobs will not be coming back.

Some of these jobs first will go to developing countries such as China and India
But than they will be “automated” and disappear all together.

Are YOU prepared for the “social age”?
What Are the QUALITIES you need for the upcoming “social age” (may be here sooner than you think!)?
What is that “emotional intelligence” anyway?

would love to hear your opinion
(you are welcome to post them here on this blog post below)

how to deal with difficult people

This question comes back over and over, it is the same in class with the kids, as it is at work as it is between families and countries.

The fact is that all people are equal on one very important level, at any age, any were in the world, all we really want is to be noticed appreciated, recognized for our being, to be loved and respected for the smallest contribution that we may make to society.

It begins in very early age, some have it more naturally, as they have some special genetic gifts which others respect them for it, but they are often challenged internally, others require more work to be noticed, and find the calling through good deeds and kindness, others, in question, have not been able to get the attention they need, and are forced, to demand respect by way of intimidation (often even confusing, respect out of love with respect out of fear, and false self confidence), but it is the best they can do at that moment…

What is important to notice that both, “good deeds”, “kindness” and “devious”, intentionally hurtful behavior, on all levels, finds its source in the very basic natural needs for oneness, for recognition and for love.

So, how to respond?

Well, you have a few options:

1. To simply ignore them. (I do not specifically recommend this option, as it is very draining of energy, and it has not solved your relationship or the situation. We often can not run nor ignore everyone who may not be kind.)

2. Confront them and put them in their place. (I do not recommend that either, as you just have done what they did, showed force and received respect through intimidation, not a long term solution).

3. To really understand, that as bad as they may behave, their goal is simple, to be noticed, respected and loved…not more and not less. The often bring their frustrations from home, from the luck of attention they are receiving from their closest friends and family. So, their behavior is simply a cry for help!

This is where my “Inner Energy” comes into play, you may be able to recognize this now, but to be able to naturally respond to their attack with confidence. To be able not to react, not to run, not to get offended, YOU MUST HAVE HIGH INNER ENERGY LEVELS. You could be politically correct, and be nice despite their wrong doing, but it will eat you within, they will continue, and eventually this will become an incident.

As you can see knowledge and understanding alone will not be enough to respond with confidence and kindness to their unfair attacks, but when the energy is there it becomes natural. You will instantly see as your attacker will be changing. Regardless of the past and the misunderstandings, every human being has a place to be, and an opportunity to contribute.

Your high energy will inevitably inspire them, give them true respect, despite their actions, and they will receive another chance. They will “magically” change their behavior towards you and towards others, even become your best friend.

By raising your Inner Energy, you have now contributed to yourself and to others.

For Adults I teach Karma Secrets – “Energy Edge”, a form of meditation, which begins with connection to energy and self regulation as participants demonstrated during our presentations, but than you will learn a very specific tools and technique, and how to continue receiving this inner growth for the all aspects of your life.

Please Note:  If you want to receive more updates on When? Where? and How? you can take part of this training, just find a registration box somewhere on this site and make sure that I have your name and e-mail so I can send you the latest updates.
