BBC News reports that around seven million people in the UK are suffering from an anxiety disorder, these are statistics according to the mental health foundation.

Is it the current economic situation that is making matters even worse, the report shows that around two out of three adults saying they fear for the future.

In the beginning of April 2009, we held a survey in ten Montessori schools (you can watch a 10 minute video from “Change begins from within”, April 4th event). We asked over five hundred children 5 years old and up, four questions, the first being how they see the world ten years from now…the children are also afraid of the future!
